At QLS, our residents enjoy a variety of amenities and are welcome to bring their own furnishings to make their room or apartment feel just like home. We offer 24/7 visitation and accept aid and attendance benefits from Veteran's Affairs.

Many in home medical, rehabilitative and social services are offered to residents in a personal care setting, and are covered by most insurance plans.

Residents have access to end of life care while staying at a QLS personal care / assisted living facility.

Residents receive laundry services and enjoy high speed wifi to communicate with family and friends, in addition to cable TV.

  • What is considered Short-Term Care and Rehabilitation?

    Short term rehab serves as a bridge between an individual's hospital stay and return to home. This type of care is usually recommended by doctors when patients have been hospitalized due to a serious condition like a stroke, heart attack or major surgery such as knee or hip replacement.


    Licensed, certified physical, occupational and speech therapists utilize a team approach. We focus on results-oriented programming to help older adults continue to enjoy active and healthy lifestyles.Our skilled nursing facilities are designed to move the patient successfully through each stage of recovery. 

  • What is considered Long Term Care?

    Long-term care is the service provided for those who are no longer able to live safely at home. These patients require 24-hour care in a nursing home (nursing facility) due to chronic medical conditions. These conditions include physical disabilities and limitations, as well as disease management such as, but not limited to, Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’s disease.

  • What is considered Memory Care?

    Memory Care is a special area offering a secure and safe environment for those who have a tendency to wander or are experiencing significant cognitive decline. This includes specialized care for patients with Alzheimer's, dementia and other cognitive impairments.

  • How can we stay involved in our loved one's care?

    Families are encouraged to participate in care planning meetings, visit regularly, and communicate with staff about the resident's preferences and needs. Collaboration between families and the caregiving team is key.

  • What is Personal Care / Assisted Living?

    Our personal care homes provide meals, supervision, assistance with custodial tasks such as dressing or bathig, along with medication management. Personal Care / Assisted Living is for patients who can still manage daily tasks on their own but may need reminders or help with medication management and meals. 

  • What services does Home Health include?

    Family Home health offers in home medical, rehabilitative and social services. As more seniors choose to age in the comfort of their families’ home, services such as skilled nursing, physical therapy and other services have become available in the private home setting. Offering similar services as those provided by therapeutic nursing facilities, Family Home Health provides the patient the ability to recover, if deemed appropriate, in the comfort of his/her own home.

  • What is the difference between Skilled and Personal Care?

    A skilled nursing center provides 24-hour nursing care for either short-term rehabilitation or long-term support. Quality Life Services offers an individualized plan designed to meet the physical and emotinoal needs of our residents. For those who need it, occupational, physical and speech therapies are available, as well as therapeutic diets and activities focused on wellness.


    An assisted living or personal care community offers private and semi-private apartment-style rooms with help in activities of daily living. From assistance with dressing and medication management to memory care (if needed), our residents in this level of care enjoy programs customized to provide the support they need.

  • What is Independent Living?

    Some of our locations have independent living apartments or cottages available on campus.  No medical services are regularly provided, but socialization opportunities are readily available.
