The QLS Difference

Commitment to family

The importance of family has been a guiding principle for Quality Life Services for over 50-years. Our leadership – both past and present – continue to give back to the communities in which they live and serve. Supporting local community businesses, as well as partnering with key community organizations allows this family centered philosophy to provide a continuing moral compass to guide business decisions.

The QLS Circle of Care

Our Circle of Care is designed with the patient in the center – ensuring that our services always focus on their needs first and foremost. Our care services are designed to offer a continuum of care and bridge the gaps in the healthcare system to support the patient wherever the help is needed.

Transparency

Integrity is one of the five guiding values of Quality Life Services – and a key to this value is transparency. When it comes to the health and safety of our patients and employees, real-time communication of information takes priority. Company leadership ascribe to an open-door policy, allowing anyone to ask questions and open a dialogue for any concerns.

Advocacy

Another Quality Life Services philosophy is being an advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves. This may be as simple as helping a family fill out paperwork for an insurance company, or as complex as visiting elected officials in Harrisburg to discuss how their decisions affect our patients. We host community events to give the residents opportunities to remain active participants in their community, and invite community members into their home.

Autonomy

We encourage our leadership to make autonomous decisions based on their knowledge of their service line and the needs of their specific patients. These decisions are not dictated by a corporate office – they are supported and given assistance to make them become a reality.
